Version 0.12 · VST3 for Windows, VST3 and Audio Unit for Mac

3. Install and activate

1. Unzip the download. Inside is a folder called Focal.vst3.
2. Move Focal.vst3 into C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3. Windows will ask for permission; click Continue.
3. Rescan plugins in your DAW (or restart it), then put Focal on your master channel.
4. Paste your license key when Focal asks for it. That's it, hit play.

1. Open Focal-Mac.pkg. If macOS says it can't verify the developer, open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down and click Open Anyway.
2. Follow the installer. It puts the VST3 and Audio Unit versions in the right folders for you.
3. Rescan plugins in your DAW (or restart it), then put Focal on your master channel. In Logic, look under Audio Units → Focal.
4. Paste your license key when Focal asks for it. That's it, hit play.
